Hi! My name is Jessica Dowda, I am excited to be your child's second grade teacher this year!
This is my third year teaching at Youngs Grove and I hope to experience many more years here in the future.
I have been married to my husband Nick for 8 years and we have two wonderful little boys, Jayden and Russ.
My Educational Philosophy: I believe that every child should have the chance to believe in themselves and to feel successful throughout their educational career. I feel that with positive reinforcements every child will have the opportunity to grow both academically and personally. By creating a classroom environment in which students feel that they are an important part of the daily procedures students will be more eager to learn.
