My name is Nicole Bentley and this is my 10th year teaching at Youngs Grove.

I really enjoy teaching because children are so eager to learn! I am married to Matt Bentley who also teaches at Youngs Grove. We have four children: Steven, Ella, Maddie, and Eli.

I believe that students learn best when they feel safe, are engaged, and participate in a variety of activities.  I believe that each child is a unique individual who needs a secure, caring, and stimulating atmosphere in which to grow and mature emotionally, intellectually, physically, and socially. It is my desire as an educator to help students meet their fullest potential in these areas by providing an environment that is safe, supports risk-taking, and invites a sharing of ideas.  I believe that blended learning is important in order to address all  learners.  Teaching is an ongoing learning experience for me in which I continue to grow.  I hope to instill the love of learning into every child!
