Hello parents and students! My name is Honesty Armer, and I am beyond excited to be teaching Kindergarten at Youngs Grove Elementary school this year!This is my fifth year teaching and my second year teaching Kindergarten. I taught pre-k for three years prior to that here at Youngs Grove, and I am thankful to be able to continue my teaching journey at such an AMAZING school! I currently live in Cedartown with my husband, Chris, our son, Phoenix, and our dogs, Hazel, Yami, and Charlie. In my free time, I enjoy catching up on my favorite shows, trying new recipes, and making crafts I find on Pinterest. My Teaching Philosophy: A teacher must first and foremost have a love of children. This love should lead to a desire to want to teach them and help them grow into successful adults. My personal teaching philosophy is centered around developing a new generation of thinking individuals. Showing students to be goal-oriented and instilling a love of learning in them that follows them wherever they go in life is invaluable. Creating students who are curious and who strive to be life-long learners will help them be successful in all of their future endeavors.
