I am so excited for our journey this school year. I wanted to tell you some things about myself in hopes that you will better get to know me. I love being a teacher and I love kids. I have taught school for twenty two years and I still get nervous about the first day.

 I moved back to Polk county to take care of family. I live on my family farm with my husband and father. I love animals and have five horses, one dog, two cats, three goats, and one snake. I have one son named Adam and a stepdaughter named Jesse. Adam lives in Colorado and is a park ranger. Jesse is a teacher in Rockmart.

I look forward to working with students and parents as we map out this school year.
