I spent my early school days in Buchanan, Georgia and graduated in 2002 from Haralson County High School.I graduated from the State University of West Georgia in 2008 with a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education degree and also in 2010 with a Master's degree in Early Childhood Education.
Mrs. Kayla Wright
My name is Kayla Wright. I am excited to be teaching first grade again. This is my 13th year teaching in Polk County. I married my high school sweetheart, Doug, in October 2005 and we currently live in Rockmart.
We have a 10 year old daughter, Aily, an 9 year old son, Benson, a 4 year old daughter, Arlyn and Henry is 1 year old. I have plans to go back for my specialist degree but it may be many years before I plan that adventure.
Welcome to Westside Elementary School where we treat others like family and children come first! I believe that children need to feel welcomed into a loving environment where they are respected and shown how to have fun and learn something along the way!
