My name is Kristina Whitfield. I am from Rockmart, but I have lived in Cedartown for 13 years now. I have two children, Zaleigh and Declyn.

This is my 8th year teaching ESOL and my 7th year at Westside.  I am very excited to get the school year started and see all of success each child makes.

My educational philosophy as an ESOL teacher is to focus on each student as an individual and his/her needs. I want to provide my students with a positive and safe learning environment. I believe in challenging students to help them achieve their highest potential. I think that having parental involvement is a key element to helping each child become successful. I believe that parents and teachers working together gives children the support that is needed to create success.
