Welcome to my class website. I am a SLP (Speech Language Pathologist/Speech Therapist) at Westside Elementary. I am married to Carson Tanner. We have three children: Raegan, Reece, and Rachel. I have been a SLP for 21 years, the last 15 of those at Westside. In speech, we focus on many specific skills but with the main goal of improving communication. I work with PreK through 5th grade students. I believe communication is an integral part of a student's success, and I want to help each student that I serve reach their full potential.

I also serve as the special education chairperson at Westside. If your child receives speech-language services, if you are concerned about your child's speech-language development, or if you have general questions regarding special education services, please feel free to contact me by e-mail or phone. I will be happy to answer any questions you may have. At Westside I am also a co-sponsor of the Beta Club for qualifying fifth grade students. We participate in projects that benefit the community and strive to help our members learn the value of character and service to others.
