My name is Brook Swan, and I love being a kindergarten teacher. Kindergarten is a time of new beginnings, making friends, and learning lots of new things each and every day. This is my 17th year of teaching. Sixteen of those years have been in kindergarten and one year in third grade. In kindergarten, our days and weeks are filled with many wonderful experiences and opportunities for learning and growing. This year your kindergartener will learn letters and sounds, how to read, and how to write. They will also learn how to count to 100, write their numbers correctly, how to add and subtract, and how to use measurement tools. Kindergarten lays the foundation of long-term educational success.
I am married to Jody Swan and we have two sons. Lucas is 10 years old and is in the 5th grade. Konnor is 8 years old and is in 3rd grade! How did this happen this fast? :) My husband LOVES UGA and RHS football. I love going to concerts and singing. My boys love cars, trucks, NASCAR, and the Atlanta Braves.
