All about ME....

Hi, my name is Kristi Ivie! This is my 13th year teaching exceptional students. I absolutely love my career and the students I work with. I feel this is where God wants me to be and I am honored to have the opportunity to work with these amazing children. Prior to coming to Polk School District, I worked 11 years for the Georgia Department of Corrections as a Correctional Counselor. I have been married for 23 years to my husband Allen Ivie, who teaches Automotives at RHS. Allen and I have two boys, Tripp and Luke. Tripp attends West Georgia College and Luke attends Kennesaw State University. Our family attends Church at Victory Baptist here in Cedartown. I have been at Westside since the 2010-2011 school year, prior to that I worked at Cherokee Elementary School.
