I received my Bachelor of Science degree from Berry College, my Masters in ECE from Berry College, and my Specialist degree from Lincoln Memorial. I feel that when I educate myself that I am also helping my students.
Mrs. Tina Harrell
My name is Tina Harrell and I am a 2nd grade teacher. My first job at Westside was as a 2nd grade teacher. The next year there was an opening in kindergarten and I accepted it. I taught kindergarten for 17 years. I LOVED it! However, I felt like it was time to make a new change in my life and I am loving 2nd grade.
I love to go to college to learn things that I can share with my classroom.
I live in Cedartown with my high school "sweetheart" Shay and we have two children named Ben and Zella. I am a very dedicated parent as well as a teacher. I teach my students just like I would my own children.
My goal in teaching is to take my students as far as I possibly can in the classroom, I want my students to feel that they can come to me for anythIng and that I will always be there for them. As a teacher, it is our obligation to dedicate ourselves to our students and to do whatever we can to help them become successful in and out of the classroom.
