Welcome to our first grade classroom! I am Mrs. Leah Duncan. I have taught for 15 years, all being first grade at Westside Elementary.

I am married and have a wonderful 9 year old little boy. I want you to know that I am here for you and your child. I believe that teaching is the most important job there is. All students can learn and it is my job to meet each individual need to make sure each student learns to the best of their ability.
