My name is Keri Hunnicutt Dean. I was born and raised here in Cedartown, Georgia. I am a graduate of Cedartown High School in the class of 2000. I attended college at Georgia Southern University and was a member of the AOII sorority.
I was inspired by my father, Milton Hunnicutt, to become an educator. I taught middle school Health and Physical Education for one year in Douglasville, Georgia. I moved to Cedartown High School and taught Special Education for 7 years. I have been teaching PE for 8 years. I’m excited to begin my 16th year teaching at Westside Elementary!
I have 2 children, Ana Scott and Mason. We are a very active family and are always on the go. Health and fitness are very important to us. I love to go walking and enjoy being outside. I love all sports, but boxing and softball are my favorites. I am a former boxer! I have 5 dogs, a bird, and several fish.
I am looking forward to a great year!
