My name is Cassie Bennett. I am a Cedartown native and Cedartown High School alumni.

I enjoy running, the beach, Disney World and spending time with my family. This is my seventh year teaching at Westside.

I am very enthusiastic about teaching and learning. My goal is to engage every child and provide a safe learning environment that encourages each student to think inside and outside the box.  I plan on identifying each student's strengths and maximizing on their learning capabilities.  

Westside students have access to numerous resources such as iPads, smartboards, and much more.  I will integrate these various forms of technology into the classroom to make learning fun and to better prepare students for the advanced world we live in today. I have no doubt that with your help, your child's educational experience will be a huge success. 

I am very fortunate to have Mrs. Ali Forrister as my paraprofessional. She and I share a love for our students and strive help them be the best that they can be. We both feel that kindergarten is a major stepping stone in education. We do our best to make learning as exciting and interesting as possible.
