This school year will be my 13th year teaching. I have taught Special Education all 13 years. I love teaching and what I do. The students make each day so special. Every student has the ability to learn and should be allowed to achieve their full potential. Each person learns a different way and as a teacher it is my job to find a way to teach/reach each one of my students. I also want to make their educational experience a successful one.

I'm married to Josh Smith. We have two daughters named Emma and Ivey. Emma is in 6th grade at Rockmart Middle School and Ivey is in Kindergarten at Van Wert for 2020-2021 school year.
