My name is Brittany Lane. This is my fourth year teaching! This is my second year teaching first grade at Van Wert Elementary.

My teaching philosophy is to provide a positive and safe learning environment for all students to learn and grow. I believe that it is important to get to know each student individually so that I understand their strengths and their individual learning styles to guide my instruction. I strive to build your child's confidence in their abilities and create a love of learning that can last a lifetime!

My husband and I reside in Rome. My husband is a real estate agent in Rome and surrounding areas. We enjoy spending time together and with our family. As for me, I love to read, drink coffee, and going to the beach! I am a huge Georgia football fan and Atlanta Braves baseball fan. 

I am excited for a new school year to start! I am proud to work with such a wonderful group of students, parents, faculty, and staff!
