Hello! My name is Meleia Chafin. I am a Second Grade teacher at Van Wert Elementary School. This is my second year teaching Second Grade. I am from Lindale, Georgia and I graduated from Pepperell High School in 2010.

One of my favorite quotes comes from Rita Pierson. She states, "Every child deserves a champion; an adult who will never give up on them, who understands the power of connection and insists that they become the best they can possibly be.". I hope to be your child's champion by making my classroom a fun, safe, exploration of learning.
