I am so excited for the 2020-2021 school year and I can't wait to see each student grow! I taught at Westside Elementary for 4 years. I am excited to teach at CMS now. This is my 10th year of teaching. I truly love my job and my students. Once I have taught a student they become part of my family. I am excited to welcome each student to my family. We will laugh and have a great time. When it is time to hunker down and push though, we will do that too. Outside of school, I enjoy being crafty and spending time with my family. My husband, Josh and I have been married for 12 years. I have a daughter named Cadence who is 8 years old, and a son named Noah who is 6 years old.

Educational Philosophy

My educational philsophy focuses on individual students strengths and weaknesses. I believe that all students can learn no matter their ability level. I want to be an educator that motivates students to do their personal best each day. I believe that I can teach students not only the content they must know, but also the skills that will make them a good person and productive member of society when they grow up. I believe that educators and parents should work together to make each student successful inside and outside the classroom.
