Hello! Welcome to my classroom. I am ready for another exciting year in 3rd grade. My teaching career began with Polk School District in 2009 at Van Wert Elementary, and continues with my current home where I attended school many years ago. In 2009 I was an Early Intervention Specialist, and continued in that role for two and a half years until I acquired a third grade classroom in the middle of the year. Teaching at this level occupied my career for another five years, and another was spent as a Directed Studies teacher at Westside Elementary. Third graders are some of my favorite people, and I am so blessed to work with them another year. 

Holding a degree from the University of West Georgia and Nova Southeastern University, I am fulfilling my dream of touching the future by enriching the lives of students in my community. Motivating my precious students to be all that they think they can be, and more, is my goal this year and every year. To do this I encourage students to discover the innate desire to learn, and embrace it as it empowers them to become an upstanding citizen for our ever changing world.
