I graduated high school here at Rockmart High School in 1990. I received my Bachelors in Education from the University of West Georgia in 1994 and then began my first teaching job. I also have a Masters in Education that I received from Nova Southwestern University.

A Little About Me
Hello! My name is Crissy Lewis. I am a Second grade teacher at Eastside Elementary. I teach Science, Social Studies and Math. I have been teaching for 26 years.
I am married to Neil Lewis. We have been married for 30 years. We have three children. Crysta, my 27 year old daughter who attended Kennesaw State University and has received a BS in Psychology. She is married to Caleb. Andrew, my 24 year old son graduated from Rockmart High School and now works full time. Anna, my 18 year old daughter was a 2020 graduate from Rockmart High. She will be attending college in the fall. I also have a 4 year old grandson, Koleson, and a 1 year old grandson, Beckett. They are the light of our lives.
Welcome to 2nd grade! The 2020-2021 school year will be a year of great learning. We are in for some new and exciting changes in 2nd grade for 2020-2021.
