Thanks to the partnership between Polk School District, Georgia Highlands College, and Georgia Northwestern Technical College, students can participate in Dual Enrollment at both Cedartown and Rockmart High Schools through Polk County College and Career Academy. Dual Enrollment courses allow for students grades 9-12 to enroll in college courses and earn concurrent credit toward a high school diploma and a college degree at no-cost to the student. Courses offered on our campuses by Georgia Northwestern Technical College are general education courses approved for transfer between accredited Technical College System of Georgia and University System of Georgia institutions.
