2nd Period (K/1st Resource ELA, sec. 2): 9:05-9:50

3rd Period (2nd/3rd Resource ELA, sec. 1): 9:50-10:35

4th Period (2nd/3rd Resource ELA, sec. 2): 10:35-11:20

5th Period (Lunch/Planning): 11:20-12:05

It's hard to believe that this is my 16th year teaching exceptional students here in Polk County!

Over my teaching career, I have taught practically every subject and every grade level (K-12) since joining the PSD team.

Educational Background:

Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Education from Jacksonville State University (2002)

Bachelor of Science degree in Special Education from Jacksonville State University (2004)

Educational Specialist degree in Special Education from Walden University (2015)

Philosophy:

Regardless of their limitations, every child deserves a chance to succeed. 

I am thrilled and excited to what this school year holds for our wonderful students and school! 

Classroom Rules and Expectations:

Just like in a regular education classroom, students are expected to comply by the PSD Code of Conduct. Students are also expected to complete all assignments in a timely manner. Students are to treat each other with respect at all times as well as show respect to the teacher and other school staff members.
