Hello! My name is Tujuana Coley. I am so excited to begin my first year in PreK at Cherokee Elementary School. I attended Jacksonville State University and received a Bachelor's Degree in Special Education PreK- 12 and a Master's Degree in Mild Learning Handicaps PreK - 12. I retired from the Cherokee County School System in Alabama after 27 years of service as a Special Education teacher at Spring Garden School before coming to Cherokee Elementary School. I have been married to Johnny Coley for 31 years.
As a teacher I feel as though I have the most important job in the world because I have the privilege of working with children. I believe that every child is a precious gift from God. I have dedicated my life to helping students overcome learning obstacles and reaching their true potential. I try to create a positive classroom environment where learning is fun and every success is celebrated. I am so thankful to have the opportunity to be here at Cherokee Elementary School. I look forward to having a great year with my amazing students!
