Hello and welcome to my classroom!
My name is Kari Carter and I am excited to be your child's teacher this year! I graduated with my bachelors in special education from Lee University, masters in special education from Nova Southeastern University, and my educational specialist in curriculum, instruction, technology, and administration from Nova Southeastern University. This is my 14th year teaching special education. I am married and have eight year old daughter. I am a Bartow County native and love the country. I love the GA bulldogs, reading, farm animals, Dr. Seuss, and spending time with my family.
Mission Statement- I firmly believe that all students can learn in their own way and at their own speed. Not every student may be an engineer or lawyer but everyone contributes to society in some way. Special needs students often are the most loving and have the most to show from their learning.
