Hey y'all! Welcome to Fourth Grade!
My name is Jordan Bohannon and I graduated from Dalton State College in NorthWest Georgia. I played college softball at the University of West Georgia for 2 years. This is my 3rd FULL year of teaching. I taught a year and a half in kindergarten and will begin my 2nd year in fourth grade! Along with teaching, I also have a passion for coaching! I coached softball and basketball. I love hiking, working out, running, Pinterest-ing, spending time with family and friends, college football & softball (GO Dawgs!) and snuggling with my 5lb. four legged-fur baby, Griffin!
My teaching philosophy is very simple, for the love of the kids. I always strive to do my best for my students (past and present) to make sure I present the best learning opportunity for them. I understand that teaching my students is top priority but I also understand loving my students is the most important thing I can do for my students. Along with the expectations I have for myself as a teacher, I believe in setting high but achievable expectations for my students and making sure they are carried out by the students. I also know and believe in learning while playing, making mistakes and collaborating with others, which are a few things I want my students to do while in my classroom from year to year.
Providing a safe, fun and loving environment for all of my students only yields a successful, productive and transforming year!
