My name is Kendra Brumbelow. I taught Georgia Pre-K for ten years. This will be my third year teaching first grade. I graduated from Kennesaw State University in May of 2002 with a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education. I am currently pursuing my Master's Degree through Walden University.
I really enjoy working with young children as they begin school. I hope to make the experience positive for them and instill a curiosity and love of learning that they will carry with them not only throughout their education, but throughout their lives. I believe all students can learn provided the proper educational environment and learning resources. I enyoy getting to know each invdividual student and discovering their strengths and characteristics as a learner. I use what I know about each student to help guide my instruction to meet all needs. I strive to build a positive learning environment where all students feel confident in their abilities but also know that they are responsible for being contributing members of our learning community.
My husband and I live in Rockmart with our four children- fifteen year old Karson, thirteen year old Conner, and eight year old twins, Ella and Ethan. When I am away from my school children, I love spending time with my family.
I look forward to starting this new school year and working with the wonderful, knowledgeable staff here at Van Wert. Thank you for sharing this important milestone in your child's life with me.
