I graduated from Shorter University with a B.S. degree and from the State University of West Georgia with a M.Ed. degree. I have been teaching for 25 years (20 at CHS). I teach AP Biology, Honors Chemistry, and Chemistry. My teaching philosophy can be found in a quote from Colin Powell, "There are no secrets to success. It is the result of preparation, hard work, and learning from failure." I believe all students have the ability to learn and can succeed. Also, preparation is a must in order for success to occur.
I am happily married to my husband and have 2 wonderful daughters! I enjoy spending time with my family and my two dogs. I look forward to a great year! Cedartown is my Alma Mater!!
