Teaching Philosophy: I have the strong belief that all students should be provided the freedom to learn in an open and nonjudgmental environment. It is the teacher's responsibility to create the conditions that make student success, not guaranteed, but certainly possible with hard work, diligence, and dedication. The teacher must encourage experimentation among the students, and create the conditions where students are not be afraid to make mistakes. Learning happens one step, one lesson, one lecture, one activity at the time. Students must be prepared for the world outside of the classroom, and be encouraged to be constant lifelong learners, who are always learning just one more thing.
