After graduating from high school, I enlisted in the army and served in Germany. Upon leaving the military, I attended the University of Georgia where I studied art and history. I have been a teacher for more than 20 years and I also coach cross country and track. I am married with three children and enjoy running and cycling in my free time.
Teaching Philosophy and Mission:
I believe that it is the teacher’s responsibility to design and deliver quality instruction with meaningful assessments and feedback. I believe that it is the student’s responsibility to be attentive and reflective while being actively engaged in the learning process. Therefore, my mission is to create a structured learning environment, provide rigorous learning experiences, and help the student progress toward measurable learning objectives.
