Hi, I am Ms. Mobley! I have the privelage of trying something very new this year, after having taught all Elementary grade levels in my career. This year, I will begin a completely new program. I will be at both Young's Grove & Eastside Elementary schools, seeing around 80 students for Reading intervention and extra help. I have been teaching in Cedartown for over 25 years, having taught at Cherokee, Northside and now YGES and EES.
I earned a Bachelor's degree in both Early Childhood & Elementary Education from Jacksonville State University. I then went on to earn an additional certification in Behavior/Emotional Education and a Master's Degree in Elementary Education from Berry College.
When not at school, I enjoy having fun with my family (I have two daughters, two dogs and a cat), being outdoors, good food (both making it AND eating it!), musical theatre, art, music & reading.... I do a LOT of reading! :) I also enjoy learning new things and exploring interesting history.
