I am very excited about this honor and the tip to Washington, D.C. in February. I love STEM and working on STEM projects. I love teaching Science and Social Studies!! Teaching Science and Social Studies is my passion and I love to see my students gain a passion for it as well. Science is such an important topic to study in school and I love to see my students learn and grow as they develop their own scientific knowledge in my classroom. It is my pleasure each day to be able to watch my students grow and become awesome students and future leaders. My promise to all my students is to be the very best teacher that I can be and to give them a wonderful learning opportunity in my classroom.
In my free time I love to watch Alabama Football (Roll Tide!!), read books, watch movies, spend time working in my yard and most importantly spend time with my wife and four year old son. I am looking forward to the upcoming 2017-2018 school year!! You will learn so much and we will learn so much from each other in our classroom. Welcome to Fifth Grade!! My philosphy of education is that all children are capable of learning. Children have to make the decision to own their learning and to overcome obstacles and as a teacher it is my job to provide a warm, loving, challenging, caring environment where all children feel welcomed and appreciated. It is also my job to guide my students to achieve greatness in life by teaching them how to work towards that greatness. Teaching is my passion and I want my students to become successful, life long learners.
