Welcome to my teacher page!
Here is a little bit about myself. This is my 23rd year of teaching. I started out with my Bachelors degree from West Georgia College in Early Childhood Education. I was a first grade homeroom teacher for many years. I received my Masters degree from Kennesaw State University in Interrelated Special Education. I began teaching Special Education in 2006. I have been co-teaching and teaching resource classes since then.
On a personal note, I have been blessed with a wonderful family. My husband's name is Greg. We have three grown and married children: Shannon, Chase, and Brandon. We also have an eight year old daughter, Christina. She is a third grade student here at Eastside. We have six grandchildren, Elizabeth, Dexter, Rex, Amelia, Finley Kate, and Luke. I can't leave out my fur babies. We have two westies named Hootie aka "The Shredder" and Gracie aka "The Couch Potato." We also have a kitty named Katniss. I'm pretty sure she thinks she's a dog.
I am looking forward to a fantastic,
2017-2018 school year!
