Hello, my name is Amy Fuller and I have been teaching for 18 years. I have taught Kindergarten, first grade, third grade, fourth grade and fifth grade. This year, I will be teaching the gifted students at Cherokee Elementary. I have a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education from Shorter College. I have a Masters of Science in Psychology from Walden University. I am originally from Marietta, Georgia. I moved to Rockmart in the seventh grade. I am married to Keith Fuller and we own The Slate Market Grill. We have two children. Cal is a freshman Gordon Stae and Gabby is a junior at Darlington. We have two dogs. I enjoy cooking, reading, photography, spending time with family and friends, and riding bikes. I am really excited about the 2017-2018 school year as we work together!
As an elementary school teacher, I strive to create a positive, caring, and stimulating learning environment for my students. Our classroom is a place where students feel important, respected, cared for, and believed in. I am a teacher who makes it possible for students to reach their fullest potential by asking questions, engaging in self discovery, providing hands on experiences, and working together to create projects. Together, in my classroom, we celebrate each other's success and inspire each other to be the best person that we can be.
