Hello, my name is Tori Martin. This is my second year as a teacher and my first time working in an E.I.P position. I obtained my Associates degree from Georgia Highlands College and later grauated from Kennesaw State Univerty with my Bachelors in Early Childhood Education. I have a loving husband named Jeremy and two yorkies named Jake and Jolene. My husband and I have been married 2 yrs now and are looking forward to many more wonderful years together.
My educational philosophy consists of two main points.
I believe that every child learns differently:
Every child has a unique learning style that only suits them. As an educator I believe it is my job to fabricate lessons to meet the needs and learning styles of each student I encounter. This allows my students to learn at their best and be the most successful. I believe all classrooms should be flexible to fit the needs of their students:
I believe in least restrictive and positive learning environments:
This type of environment nutures and uplifts students' self-esteem. I believe that children should be able to come to school and feel safe and happy. In our classroom we practice respect and responsibility to ensure that everyone can get the most out of the lessons and climb the academic latter.
