Respect for Others
Character Education Topic
Monday: This month our character education topic is Respect for Others. Having respect for others means to feel or show honor for the feelings and rights of others. A couple of ways to show respect for others is to take turns when playing a game or by not breaking in line.
Tuesday: This month we are learning about respecting others. One way to show that we respect other people is by treating everyone the way we would like to be treated. Follow the Golden Rule. Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.
Wednesday: Our Character Education topic for this month is Respect for Others. Your teachers work very hard to help you learn, so show respect for your teacher by following class rules, working hard, and being courteous to him or her.
Thursday: This month we are learning about showing respect. One way to practice respect for the environment is to recycle. Recycling helps keep waste down and reduces the use of our vital resources such as wood and metals. Each classroom has a can for recycling paper and each pod has a container for bottles and cans. You may also put your cardboard in the big green recycling bin out back.
Friday: This month we have learned about respect. Remember this means to show or feel honor for the feelings and the rights of others. You can also have respect for yourself. Having respect for yourself means that you demonstrate a positive opinion of yourself. One way to show respect for yourself is by having a healthy diet and getting plenty of exercise.
