Clay

Clay is a fine grained soil that exhibits plasticity when mixed with water in the right proportions.

When dry, clay becomes firm and when fired in a kiln it will permanently become hard.

This is why we have bricks, wall and floor tiles, statues, and pottery.

Different types of clay are earthenware, stoneware, and porcelain.

                                  Raw clay

What we have made in the past with pinch pots and coiling.
