The Media Center is the research and resource hub of the school. We house books, videos, and computers for students to use for their curriculum related needs. Students may access the collection individually or in a whole classroom setting.
Students admitted to the Media Center during class time with teacher's permission.
A teacher may send up to five students to the Media Center at a time.
Students are responsible for materials checked out to them.
Please do not loan books checked out in your name to another student.
If a book is lost or damaged the student must pay the original cost of the book.
Students who pay for materials which are later found and returned in good condition will be given a refund.

Copies needed for research/library related projects are free of charge.
The Polk School District abides by all copyright laws.
Eastside Elementary School adheres to PSD Board policies and procedures regarding the use of computers and access to the Internet.
Computer usage in the Media Center is for academic purposes only.
DO NOT use Media Center computers for social networking, personal email, or computer games.
DO NOT change settings, backgrounds, etc. on library computers.
Librarian is always available to assist with research related activities and book recommendations.
