Focus of the Week

January 11-13, 2017

The students have been so excited about returning to school.  They will be learning about winter and animals in winter.  Your child may come home using new words like hibernate and mittens.  They will be observing different lengths of yarn and different sizes of marshmallows.  The students will be making predictions and observing what happens to marshmallows when placed in different liquids.  They are going to be matching letters in their names to letters written on cards.  Ask your child what happens to Nicki's mitten.
