Our Classroom Rules
Our classroom rules are:
1. Be Ready...to listen and to learn.
2. Be Respectful...Treat others the way you want to be treated.
3. Be Responsible...Make good choices!
We will use a traffic light for student behavior. Each child has a clothes pin with his/her name on it. Each day our class begins the day with all clothespins on green. Each student will start his/her day with "two warnings". If a student needs to be corrected for behavior more than twice, they move their clothespin to the yellow light to caution them to think more carefully about their actions. When on the yellow light, the student loses 5 minutes of recess. If another infraction occurs, they move their clothespin to red and will miss all of recess for that day. We have recess for 15 minutes each day. I will only write a note in the agenda referenced to behavior if your child's day warrants a note.
**Please also view my Essential 55 page for more information on our school wide rules.
