Today's Activator - Today's Activator is the SAME A Thursday's - to review and study the portion of the Facial Features handout that references whichever Facial Feature that may be troubling you with your Veteran Portrait. Then retrieve your Portrait and continue to work on it. Return Facial Features Handout to Activator Tray at the end of period. TURN IN ACTIVATORS BY CLOSE OF PERIOD.

VETERAN'S DAY PROJECT - PORTRAIT of REAL veteran.  This project has a deadline of Friday, November 3.  Each student is to do a LIFESIZE head and shoulders portrait of a veteran.  if possible, you are to choose a veteran that is a friend or relative.  If you do not have someone who you know personally, find an image of a veteran on the web or from the book in the front of our classroom.  Whomever you choose bring the image/photo to me for approval before you begin to sketch, draw or paint.  Choices of media are:  colored pencils, markers, lead pencil, oil pastels, or watercolor paint.  See me about specific paper choices.  Remember this must be completed by Friday, November 3!!! BRING TO ME TO TURN IN.

Project Requirements:

• Life Size
• Name and branch of service along bottom edge of portrait
