Sentences, Punctuation, and Capitalization

ELACC3L2  I can use proper capitalization, punctuation, and spelling when writing. I can use a dictionary to check and correct my spelling.

Capitalizing Rules:

1. All sentences begin with a capital letter.
2. Proper names of people.
3. Proper names of places (parks, cities, towns, street names, etc.)
4. Titles of songs, books, stories, magazines, articles, etc.
5. The letter i when referring to yourself.
6. Titles of people.
7. Days of the week, months of the year, and holidays.
