After School Conversation

Getting students to share meaningful information about their school day can be difficult. Here are a few quick ways to get the conversation started:

  • What's the coolest thing that happened? What wasn't so cool?
  • Pretend your the teacher, how would you describe the day?
  • What was the most creative thing you did today?
  • What made you laugh?
  • How where you kind or helpful today? Was anyone kind or helpful to you?

Hopefully these tips will get the conversation rolling and keep the lines of communication open...
