Students from the Art class at Cedartown Middle School competed to be the schools top entry for the Polk County Kids’ Fishing Rodeo. The Rodeo is a free fishing event held for kids 15 years old and younger on June 10th 2017. Every year they have a contest to design a t-shirt for the event. 500 t-shirts with the winning design will go to the first 500 attendees to the event.  Each school in the district will pick one winner school wide to compete against other entries from the Polk district. The final winner will be determined by Facebook votes on the Polk County Kid’s Fishing Rodeo Facebook page. So please check back soon so your vote can vote for Cedartown Middles’ winner. It was tough and close race but our finalists were 8th grade Olivia Golden, 7th grade DJ Lackey, Emma Findley, Yasmin Cruz, and  6th grade Arika Mabry, Yesenia Palacios, Abigale Reynolds, Noah Turpin, and Jose Perez.  Our judges chose Olivia Golden  to represent our school. Now she will complete among other schools in the Polk School district. You may go to Polk County Kid’s Fishing Rodeo Facebook page to cast your vote for Olivia.
