How We Walk in the Hallways at VWES! The B.E.E.S. Procedure.

We have to walk in pre-k. I mean we have to walk a LOT! This is tough for pre-k kiddos as many of them have never walked with a large group before and it can be quite chaotic.  We have worked hard these first weeks of school to learn how to walk in a line.  Some days we get it, some days we don't, but we are startring to get it more than we are not and that is awesome! As a matter of fact, I was so proud of the perfectly straight line we formed after indoor recess the other day that I just HAD to snap a photo for your all. Check us out,we are as straight as an arrow (well sort of, they wanted to all be in the picture too, lol)!!!!!

Here is a copy of our B.E.E.S. Hallway Procedure for reviewing with your child every night for the first month, then weekly there after. We usually need reminders after each holiday and break from school as those times have a way of erasing the memories of many students and teachers alike wink Together we will get this whole walking in a line requirement down pat in no time! Thanks for your help with this parents/grandparents/Guardians. Don't forget if you have an older child here at Van Wert, they can gladly help out with teaching our procedures as well, just ask!
