Classroom Guidance

Classroom guidance topics are developmental and designed to support students academically. We cover a wide range on topics that support the academic curriculum, while building social skills and independent reasoning skills. Classroom guidance topics include: test taking skills, healthy choices, personal safety, problem solving, bullying prevention, work habits, responsibility and goal setting, time management, learning styles, and career awareness.  Every month, I schedule classroom guidance with teachers. This is an overview of some of the topics that we will cover this year. This schedule may be adjusted to fit the needs of the students in each classroom. If  you have questions or concerns about the guidance schedule, please contact me by phone, 770-748-4932, or by email, jredden@polk.k12.ga.us
