E.Q.: What are communicable diseases and how can they be prevented?

 

Warm up: T.P.S.  2 min. Think about the different pathogens we have discussed. 2 min pair with someone and discuss. 2 min. Share with class. 

 

 


Procedure:  20 min. - students will be partnered using socrative scores and complete ch. 23 study guide.  Once everyone has completed the study guide go in gym and do 20 min. Walk

Procedure:  20 min. - students will take ch. 23 test .  Once everyone has completed the test go in gym for 20 min. Walk

Warm up: 2 min think about a time that you've been around someone who was adversely affected by the use of alcohol. 2 min. Pair up and discuss. 2 min. Share with class

 

 


Procedure:  20 min. - students will perform tasks while wearing drunk goggles. When they are finished they will pair with someone who passed or failed their ch. 23 test and write a paragraph about their experience. 
                   20 min. Walk up top in gym.

E.Q.: What are the parts of the endocrine system and what functions do they carry out?

 

Warm up: 2 min think about what you know about the endocrine system. 2 min. Pair up and discuss. 2 min. Share with class

 

 


Procedure:  10 min. - nearpod presentation over endocrine system.
                    5 min. - socrative quiz
                    15 min. - pair up using quiz scores (high/low) and create an origami over topic 
                                   Given. 
                     10 min. - present
