What is Work-Based Learning?
- Work-Based Learning (WBL) Programs are structured educational experiences that integrate classroom learning (school-based) with productive, structured work experiences (work-based) that are related to the students’ career goal.
- Work-Based Learning experiences provide students (Juniors and Seniors) with opportunities for instruction in both academic and occupational skills, career exploration, and guidance in identifying employment and educational goals.
- Students have the opportunity to see how classroom instruction connects to the world of work and future career opportunities, while earning both school credit and money, or by gaining experience through internships!
- Students are selected through an application process each year.
