    Class routines and procedures

Students will receive a homework packet at the beginning of each week. It needs to be returned to me each Friday. Any additional homework will be something that I am allowing for them to take home and complete due to them not completing it in class. All work that extra time is given for needs to be returned the next day.

-Study guides will be provided on occasion. They will NOT accompany every test/quiz taken in the classroom.

-Retests will be given upon request, a time needs to be worked out before or after class to take a retest.

    No Name Paper

All papers that are turned in with no name will be placed in the “Unclaimed” folder. There they will remain for three days. After the three days has expired they will be removed and thrown away. When papers are turned in with no name, they will be marked as “missing” in the grade book. If a student has not claimed their paper by the end of the third day, the “missing” will be turned to a zero in the gradebook.

There will be a folder for each day of the week, students will find it on the wall by the T.V. Each day after class, any worksheets that have been used will be placed in the appropriate folder. When the student returns from their absence, they will need to check the folder for any work they have missed. Students will have the standard 3 days to complete the work.

    Late papers

For each day a paper is late, it will be deducted 10 points.

-Exception: If a student is absent, papers will be accepted without point loss.

    Classroomm Expectation

Be Ready-Come to school ready to learn something new! Bring all materials needed to complete tasks for the day.

Be Respectful-Be respectful to EVERYONE we come in contact with, not just teachers or other adults. Being respectful does not mean we have to be best friends, it just means that we speak/act politely toward others.

Be Responsible-We take responsibility for our own actions/choices. Every choice has an outcome, that outcome is typically good or bad based on the type of choice we make.

-We also take responsibility for our own materials. (example, iPads, Library books, etc.)

If you have any questions feel free to contact me at school or by email.
