Welcome to the School Nutrition Program!!

Polk County’s School Nutrition Program has over 75 employees working in 10 cafeterias. These dedicated employees serve over 960,000 lunches and over 430,000 breakfasts each school year. The Polk County School Nutrition Program is dedicated to promoting the health and well-being of each student by providing healthy, nutritious meals prepared in sanitary facilities and served in a pleasant atmosphere. Polk County participates in the USDA’s Breakfast and Lunch Programs. This allows the program to serve approximately 4,600 free and reduced price meals daily to students meeting the USDA guidelines.
